Merrill Homeless Shelter (MAC HOME)
The Merrill Area Community Homeless Shelter (MAC Home) works every day to ensure that everyone has a safe and comfortable place to sleep. As of November 30, 2025, MAC Home has provided 1,338 safe nights of shelter. In 2025, they served 89 individuals, comprised of 68% men, 21% women, and 11% children. Additionally, 58% of those served accessed services in the warming center, while 42% received assistance in the transitional living area. Since opening in March 2019, MAC Home has provided a total of 10,214 safe nights of shelter to 538 individuals. In addition to monetary donations, they are in need of the following items:
- Laundry Detergent
- Cleaning Products
- Men's Winter Gloves
- Chapstick
- Backpacks
- Hand Warmers
- Copy Paper
