What We Believe

We believe all are welcome and united by God’s love. For The United Church of Christ, Justice and Jesus are inseparable. Our daily worship is anchored by the belief that God is still speaking.

Local Churches are at the Center

We believe the holy spirit is most clearly manifested in the local church and in the covenant churches have with one another creating the wider church. While we are autonomous, we are also in sacred covenant with one another. 


Empowering Transformation

Of the 183 questions asked of Jesus in the gospels, he only answered three of them. Jesus however asked 307 questions. Along with our savior, we believe we grow in faith by asking and living the questions. Transformation occurs when we struggle with the questions together in mission, worship, and fellowship. 


Local and Wider Church Mission

Every year we focus on 12 monthly missions to support through our giving. These include 4 vital wider church ministries and usually 8 local ministries.
