  • Dinner @ 5

Saint Stephens United Church of Christ hosts a community dinner every Monday at 5:00 PM, rain or shine. Beginning in April 2015, volunteers have gathered on Monday afternoons and evenings to cook, prepare, and serve a hot meal to anyone who comes … a meal that is open to anyone and everyone:  families, individuals, couples, young and old alike, regardless of race, religion, gender, economic status, or any other characteristic.  A free-will offering is accepted.

If a holiday falls on a Monday, Dinner @ 5 will be closed to allow our volunteers to enjoy the holiday. Additionally, If school is canceled due to inclement weather Dinner @ 5 will also be closed.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email Terra at terra@ststephensucc.net.

  • Medical Ministry

The Medical Ministry at Saint Stephens is a "Loan Closet" for small to medium-sized medical equipment, such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, commodes, etc. On occasion, we have also had hospital beds available. The equipment is loaned free of charge to anyone who needs it. There are no restrictions and there is no mandatory fee of any kind. A waiver form is signed and filed, and the equipment is loaned for as long as needed with the request that it be returned when you are done with it.

Available equipment is limited to what is on hand. The selection changes almost daily as equipment is loaned out and returned or donated. You are welcome to call before you come to see if we have the kind of equipment you need on hand.

We appreciate your prayers for our ministry and our borrowers. Non-mandatory donations are accepted to defray the costs of cleaning and repairing equipment.

Please don't hesitate to call us. We are here to help you.  715.536.7322
