St. Vincent De Paul Outreach

The SVDP Outreach Program is the only emergency response service that our community has. All the money raised for SVDP is used to help people in need right here in our community and in Lincoln County.

In the last 11 months, SVDP has given out over $120,000 in assistance for those in our local community and surrounding area. Of that money approximations are $40,000 was for rent assistance, $32,000 in utilities assistance, $16,000 in lodging assistance for the homeless who aren’t able to get into MAC Home or don’t qualify, and $32,000 in other assistance such as gas money for transportation, childcare supplies and much more!

SVDP relies on the community for most of its funding. They do not receive federal or state aid but do receive some funds from the Merrill United Way. Proceeds from the SVDP Thrift Store also benefit the Emergency Assistance program.
